Brentwood Zoning Code Update

Miller Planning Associates and RRM Design Group are currently working with the City of Brentwood to comprehensively update the City’s Zoning Code, Title 17 of the Municipal Code. The Zoning Code Update was initiated to implement the City’s General Plan, which establishes a broad vision for future growth, development, and conservation of resources. The City’s General Plan, adopted in 2001, was more recently updated in 2014 in order to address local conditions and emerging community priorities. In addition to being consistent with the General Plan, the Zoning Code Update will reflect modern changes in land use, provide clear decision-making protocols and streamlined review processes, and make the code easier to apply and understand for all users.
