Santa Ana Heights Fire Station and Training Facility

RRM Design Group created an 11,350 sf fire station and training facility in the prestigious Santa Ana Heights region of Newport Beach. The fire station includes double wide, double-deep apparatus bays; living quarters; a 48 person training classroom (that will also serve the neighboring Santa Ana Heights community for community meetings and functions); and associated apparatus spaces for fire personnel. The fire training facility includes a three-story prefabricated training tower and approximately one acre of paving for fire training exercises. Working closely with the Santa Ana Heights community representatives, RRM developed designs sensitive to the community’s ranch-style homes, open spaces, and equestrian trails, while serving the fire department’s needs.
