The City of Ripon retained RRM Design Group to expand its existing combination City Hall/Police Department headquarters to accommodate unprecedented growth needs by both the Police Department and the various City administrative departments. RRM provided programming through construction administration for this new police and city hall complex with an added state-of-the-art dispatch center. Additionally, RRM designed the new City Council Chamber to accommodate 100 seats, plus room to expand meetings into the adjacent lobby and even to the exterior of the building, if necessary. RRM’s design of the expansion complements the existing aesthetic, uses green building products and systems, and creates a new icon building for the City.
