Oxnard Contract Planning

RRM Design Group was retained by the City of Oxnard for on-call professional planning services. A variety of assignments have included development review for the Fisherman’s Wharf proposal at the Channel Islands harbor and preparation of a mitigated negative declaration for a Port of Hueneme temporary vehicle storage yard (approximately 34 acres located along Port hueneme Road). Currently, RRM in collaboration with Morse Planning Group is preparing a comprehensive environmental impact report for the vehicle storage yard project and is working closely with the Community Development Department to prepare a thorough environmental analysis and coordinate with Port of Hueneme staff. The resulting environmental compliance documentation will comply with CEQA requirements and respond to community comments and concerns. The Draft EIR is planned to be completed and circulated for public review later this year.
