Designed along with the community, this skatepark project embodies the collective vision of skateboarders, parents, neighbors, and local sports groups. Extensive public outreach provided diverse opportunities for community members to shape the design, ensuring that the skatepark meets their needs and desires. The design integrates this valuable feedback, featuring essential amenities such as lighting, paving, parking, shade, and furnishings. RRM and Wormhoudt Inc. worked closely together to ensure that landscape and skatepark amenities were designed seamlessly. While Wormhoudt worked directly with the skaters to provide a skate design that met the needs of beginners, intermediate, and advanced skaters, RRM designed shaded hangout plazas and landscapes for skaters and spectators.
