Garden Court

This 98 unit, SRO housing development is designed for low-income seniors with special needs. It includes on-site amenities, such as a welcoming, covered patio to observe the lively street, along with a protected inner courtyard. The project is a model of private/public collaboration. Acting as architect and developer, Detlev Peikert is General Partner in the development. The project utilizes federal government tax credit financing. The City of Santa Barbara Redevelopment Agency provided some funding and the Housing Authority of Santa Barbara operates and manages the facility.
