Eagle Ranch Specific Plan
Eagle Ranch is a visionary proposal that reflects a commitment to land stewardship and a development plan sensitive to the rural character of Atascadero. RRM was retained by the owners of the Eagle Ranch to provide a Specific Plan for the 3,400-acre property. The Eagle Ranch plan calls for 587 new residential units, village center, park, and 100-room resort hotel.
Eagle Ranch will include 494 single family lots and 93 multifamily units. The recreation components include a 7.4 acre park and 16.9 miles of trails for hiking, biking and equestrian use. The plan specifies the zoning of 15 acres for highway commercial space and 15,000 sf of retail space in the 3.9 acre Village Center. Remarkably, the owners of Eagle Ranch have committed to preserving at least 70% of the original Eagle Ranch property for the preservation of sensitive natural resources and the continuation of ongoing agriculture.
