Bakersfield Sports Village

Bakersfield Sports Village is a 185 acre sports complex in the southwest quadrant of the City, and is capable of hosting large soccer, football, and softball tournaments. RRM prepared a conceptual design plan and construction documents for Phase III improvements, that include a lighted championship soccer field, a playground, picnic areas, a lake for irrigation, a network of walking and jogging paths, and park roads. The entire park is irrigated from reclaimed water that is provided by the City’s water treatment facility immediately to the north of the site. The final Sports Village master plan includes 17 soccer fields, 4 football fields, 10 softball fields, a skate park, and a community building, plus a host of supporting amenities and trails.
