From kicking off conceptual drawings back in 2017 to completing construction drawings in 2019, our team has eagerly anticipated the day Mia’s Dream Come True Playground would become open to the public. Last Thursday, that long-awaited day finally came as members of our team attended the park’s ribbon cutting and grand opening. Our team is so grateful for the trust the Vasquez family and the Hayward Area Recreation and Parks District (H.A.R.D) had in the RRM team. From the beginning, our team kept Mia front-and-center in the design approach, conceptualizing a park that is welcoming to individuals of all backgrounds and encourages different styles of play. Although it’s only been open to the public for a short period of time, this all-abilities playground is already proving to be a sought-after attraction for families throughout Alameda County and beyond.
