Structural Engineering | Project Engineer

RRM Design Group is currently seeking a full-time Project Engineer to join our Structural Engineering team! Our growing firm is looking for an individual who is eager to be part of a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team that offers a great balance of professional fulfillment and fun.

RRM Design Group is a 100% employee-owned multi-discipline design firm with a full spectrum of services including architecture, landscape architecture, planning, civil and structural engineering, and surveying. This rewarding job involves:

  • Perform structural analysis for both lateral (wind and seismic) and gravity systems for buildings comprised of steel, concrete, wood, or masonry.
  • Produce a comprehensive set of building and/or component calculations tailored to the project type and jurisdiction
  • Provide project design (e.g. drawing, detailing, specifications, calculations, processing, plans, estimates) under the direction of a senior staff member.
  • Produce accurate CAD work that meets appearance and CAD standards.
  • Interact with clients and represent RRM in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Meet budgets and deadlines.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience
  • Current knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications, and trends
  • PE license
  • Proficiency and understanding  of relevant engineering software (RISA-3D , Enercalc, Tedds , or  equivalent)
