STANFORD UNIVERSITY BUILDING AND DESIGN REGULATIONS HANDBOOK

Stanford University Faculty Staff Housing and Land Use Environmental Planning Departments retained RRM Design Group to revise an existing set of development standards that were difficult to understand and onerous. RRM developed materials to guide future home improvements proposed by residents in the faculty subdivisions in a thoughtful and sustainable way. The Building and Design Regulations Handbook provides residents, design professionals, and the
University with a clear and common understanding of the process for proposed alterations to existing residential development, and intentions for the planning, design, and review of new development.
