Santa Clarita Community Center

RRM Design Group prepared the feasibility study, completed the construction documents, and oversaw construction for a new community center for the City of Santa Clarita. To better meet the needs of residents and to respond to increased demands and expanded programming opportunities, the 18,500 sf facility serves more than 2,500 people weekly and offer programs such as ballet and folklorico, boxing, after school training, and an assortment of indoor and outdoor sports. RRM examined three sites as part of the process, assessing the pros and cons and potential costs for a new, enhanced, and expanded community center. RRM conducted the analysis in a proactive fashion, engaging members of the community in a dialogue to help refine and confirm input on the community center program, facilities, activities, location, colorful design, and site development options.
