RRM Design Group San Clemente is excited to announce that we are conducting a drive to help homeless families in Orange County.   HomeAid Orange County is a nonprofit that builds, renovates and maintains dignified housing where homeless men, women and children can rebuild their lives.  Since 1989, HomeAid has created partnerships between builders and county service providers to achieve a common goal.  The result – 48 shelters and 1,054 beds added over the last 22 years that serve victims of domestic violence, abused children, homeless families and individuals.

HomeAid’s 5th Annual Essentials for Young Lives is a donation drive to collect essential items for babies such as diapers, wipes, hygiene items and food.  HomeAid’s goal is to ensure that every baby in our community has access to the essential items they need.  The diaper goal for 2012 is to provide up to six months of supplies by collecting 500,000 diapers.  We are proud to be involved!

The items collected are delivered to agencies that operate facilities built in partnership with HomeAid and families are the fastest growing segment of the homeless population.  Mothers are struggling to choose between feeding their child and providing clean diapers. Essentials for Young Lives donations enable recipient agencies to save the funds normally spent on diapers, wipes and food.  This allows them to utilize funds for programs that help their clients achieve self-sufficiency and break the cycle of homelessness.

Partner agencies include, Anaheim Interfaith Shelter, Casa Teresa, Families Forward, Fullerton Interfaith Emergency Service, H.I.S. House, Human Options, Interval House, Isaiah House, Laura’s House, Mary’s Shelter, Mercy House, Orange County Rescue Mission, Precious Life Shelter, Shelter for the Homeless, Thomas House and W.T.L.C.

Here’s how you can help:
