Taylor Mountain Regional Park & Open Space Preserve

RRM Design Group was retained by the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District, in collaboration with Sonoma County Regional Parks, to develop a conceptual Master Plan, resource management plan and environmental document for a major new regional park and open space preserve located on Taylor Mountain. RRM facilitated multiple workshops, design charettes and outreach opportunities including “Taylor Mountain Day”, a day for the public to spend on the mountain learning about its rich cultural and natural resources. The final Master Plan will provide a balance of preservation and recreational opportunities and address the issues of land management, stewardship and trails management.
