RRM’s Mike Hutaff Awarded 2012 ULI Emergent Leadership Award for Architecture

RRM’s Mike Hutaff was awarded the 2012 Emergent Leadership Award for Architecture last night from the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Orange County/Inland Empire district council. His efforts in the Emergent Leadership Program and involvement in the Young Leaders Group Pro Bono Technical Assistance Panel were noted.

The winners were announced at the 2nd Annual YLG Emergent Leadership Awards to a lively audience at Andrei’s Conscious Cuisine on Thursday, March 22nd. The event was hosted by the Young Leaders Group (YLG) with Michael Ruane, District Council Chair, serving as the master of ceremonies. The Emergent Leadership Awards featured a keynote address by Mr. Emile Haddad, President and CEO of Five Point Communities and an address by Mr. Larry Webb, Partner and CEO of the New Home Company.

The Emergent Leadership Awards honored young leaders in the categories of Architecture, Engineering, Capital Markets, Property Development, Planning, Professional Services, and Leadership. This year, 32 nominees were finalists for the awards. A judging committee comprised of Urban Land Institute Orange County/Inland Empire District Council Advisory Board members determined the ultimate recipients of the awards.

The Emergent Leadership Awards honored young leaders in the categories of Architecture, Engineering, Capital Markets, Property Development, Planning, Professional Services, and Leadership. This year, 32 nominees were finalists for the awards. A judging is the premier event for real estate professionals in Orange County and the Inland Empire. The YLG Emergent Leadership Awards were established to recognize exemplary motivated, dedicated, and inventive emerging real estate professionals. The District Council places great importance on highlighting the most outstanding local emerging leaders whose contributions to their company and ULI make it clear that they lead by example.
