Knollwood at Blacklake
Nipomo, CA
RRM Design Group provided the land development planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, and survey for this 160-acre parcel in Nipomo, CA. The project included 58 one-acre lots, a 2-acre community public park, and an extensive equestrian trail system. RRM facilitated the clustering of this subdivision into smaller lots, affording dedicated land for open space and gaining a density bonus.
Additionally, the project included a water main line, a storm drain system, a dry utility infrastructure installation, and over 800,000 cubic yards of cut and fill for constructing roads and building pads. RRM worked closely with the County of San Luis Obispo staff to inspect all grading, access roads, intersections, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and trails.
