Ceres Community Center

RRM Design Group provided consensus programming, community input workshops, economic feasibility studies of revenue producing programs, design, and construction administration for a new City of Ceres 28,000 sf community center building. The new facility includes assembly rooms, a commercial kitchen, a senior center, meeting rooms, activity rooms, and the offices of the Parks and Recreation Department. Through careful master planning with the surrounding commercial core, the building will be an impetus for the full revitalization of the downtown Ceres area. The project required a comprehensive approach to the design of the facility, including a study evaluating the adaptive reuse of the existing church, tours of similar facilities, a long term economic feasibility study, consensus design and community workshops, and identification of an iconic image to represent the City of Ceres.
