SLO Promenade Retail CenterSan Luis Obispo, CARRM Design Group provided master planning, conceptual design, and construction drawings for the expansion and renovation of the existing retail shopping center. The 230,000 sf of building area incorporates three new major tenants (Cost Plus, Staples, Bed Bath & Beyond), new multi-tenant shops space, and several food service tenants. As the lead architect, RRM collaborated with other design firms to produce construction drawings for specific tenant groups and develop a comprehensive sign program to integrate graphics throughout the project. Site improvements included landscaped plazas incorporating public art, pedestrian pathways linking retail frontages, and renovated parking areas with landscape screening. Construction administration services were also provided on this project.
