Cambria Grammar School Campus

Cambria, CA

With extensive community outreach, complete Coastal Commission approval, full EIR/CEQA studies, and a thorough General Plan Amendment, RRM Design Group provided the Master Plan and design of the new Cambria Grammar School.

This new K-5 campus with 6 buildings (totaling 32,115 sf) includes a multi-purpose building, an administration building, a library/computer lab, a kindergarten, 2 classroom buildings (with 22 classrooms), parking for staff, a bus drop-off, and outdoor recreational facilities. Additionally, the site accommodates growth by incorporating design for two future classroom buildings.

Intended for use by both students and the community, the 8,070 sf multi-purpose building seats 627 people and can be used as a cafeteria (with a kitchen, a walk-in cooler, a commercial dishwasher, a food service line, and seating for 292 on built-in, fold-down tables and benches), a theater (with a full stage, curtain, and multimedia projection screen), and sports courts (both volleyball and basketball).
